Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Successful background providing OT services in school, healthcare, and/or home health settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and therapy documentation in educational environments
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, support staff, and families
  • Compassionate approach, with a commitment to fostering student independence and functional success
  • Experience adapting interventions for varied student needs, ages, and abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and educational plans
  • Assess student abilities and develop targeted treatment strategies to improve daily function and academic participation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for each student’s development
  • Consult with teachers and families to recommend classroom modifications and home carryover strategies
  • Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation for compliance
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as needed
