Corporate M&A/Private Equity Associate - Am Law 50 Firm

About the Position:

Our client, a leading Am Law 50 Firm, has an active need for a corporate lawyer with strong M&A and private equity experience to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. Responsibilities:

· Prepare acquisition and disposition agreements as well as closing documents

· Represent financial sponsors and strategic buyer and sellers with sell-side transactions, leveraged buyouts, and growth equity and minority investments

Required Qualifications:

· 4-6 years of M&A and private equity experience

· Experience representing financial sponsors and strategic buyer/sellers with leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, growth equity and minority investments, and related strategic transactions (including preparation of acquisition/disposition agreements and related closing documents)

· Experience with capital formation, partnerships and finance is a plus

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $310,000 - $390,000.
