Korean-Japanese soft serve and taiyaki shop seeking a hands-on Area Manager to oversee two locations. You'll split your time between The Woodlands and West Houston, managing two teams of up to 15 part-timers. The Woodlands runs smoothly with high standard. West Houston is being brought up to match, with directors helping through that process.

This is a very hands-on job. We need someone who leads by teaching and doing. You must be willing to wash dishes, sweep, mop, scrub floors, or cleaning restrooms when needed.

This is not clock-out job but if you are disciplined and think ahead you should be able to enjoy your days off.

Responsibilities: daily operations and floor standards, hiring/training/coaching, scheduling, inventory and vendor ordering, machine cleaning, inspection readiness, review management, and proactive director communication across both locations, all while working the floor alongside your team.

Requirements:

5+ years food service management (multi-unit preferred), strong communicator, firm and accountable, calm under pressure, open availability including weekends and holidays, must commute to both locations, GED or higher, Texas Food Manager's Certification (or obtain within 60 days, reimbursed).
