Entry Level - Procurement Admin #26189

Blue Chip Talent , in partnership with a public sector organization, is seeking a skilled Procurement Administrator . This role is responsible for supporting procurement and contract administration activities, maintaining documentation, and helping ensure contracts and amendments move through the approval process efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized administrative professional who enjoys working with documents, systems, and people.

Job Duties

• Prepare and distribute contracts and amendments for review and execution
• Track contract status and follow up with internal stakeholders and suppliers as needed
• Maintain contract files and electronic document repositories
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy before processing
• Respond to supplier and internal questions regarding procurement procedures
• Assist with purchasing card administration and compliance tracking
• Update procurement templates, forms, and department resources
• Support vendor onboarding and registration activities
• Order department supplies and provide general administrative support
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives

Skills & ExperienceRequired

• 2+ years of administrative, contract support, procurement support, or office coordination experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience working with electronic documents and file management systems
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and PDF document editing
• Strong data entry and document management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Desired

• Experience supporting contracts, purchasing, procurement, or compliance functions
• Experience tracking documents through approval workflows
• Experience working with purchasing cards (P-Cards)
• Experience maintaining records and document repositories
• Familiarity with vendor onboarding processes
• Experience in a government, municipal, or regulated environment
