Receive phone calls and emails from external & internal customers which must be handled on a timely basis. Information handled will typically include RFQ's, technical assistance/support, equipment manufacturer support, technical product support, delivery expediting, etc.

Manage multiple project inquiries and project quotations

Facilitate customer application requirements for their assembly, sizing and product selection

Attend required and preferred training

Participate in an after-hours and weekend 'On-Call' rotation

Accurately complete quotes, order entry and purchase orders

Always build and cultivate solid relationships

Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times, regardless of location

Some travel may be required

This job is demanding in terms of knowledge skills, commitment, and all other job-related qualifications. Urgency and pressure for prompt, accurate results are routine. Multi-tasking and the ability to handle and manage interruptions is expected.

Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience

Experience in an industrial environment preferably an industrial internship

A non-degreed candidate with a high mechanical aptitude may be considered In the absence of a degree, experience in a similar role in the chemical, petrochemical, refining or oil & gas industries may be considered
