Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation, assessment, and treatment services for children with communication, speech, language, feeding, and social communication challenges. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans that support each child's communication skills, functional independence, and overall success in educational and social environments. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric population in a collaborative, student-centered setting. Key Responsibilities Clinical Assessment & Treatment Conduct comprehensive evaluations in speech, language, communication, and feeding. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Deliver evidence-based therapy for: Speech and articulation Language development Social/pragmatic communication Feeding and oral-motor disorders Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes. Utilize appropriate communication supports and assistive technologies as needed. Collaboration & Family Support Collaborate with educators, behavior specialists, occupational therapists, and other team members. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to goal-setting. Educate and support families/caregivers on communication strategies and carryover techniques. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including: Evaluations Progress notes Treatment plans Reports Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. Attend required meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities. Professional Development Stay current with evidence-based practices and advancements in speech-language pathology. Engage in continuing education, mentorship, and skill development opportunities. Required Qualifications Education Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Licensure & Certification Active SLP license (or eligibility) in the state of New York. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Strong Clinical Fellowship (CFY/CF) candidates are encouraged to apply.
