CGP: Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst Century Group is partnering with a client in Los Angeles County, CA. This role is contract-to-hire with an hourly rate of $45 to $55, depending on skills, experience, and location. The successful candidate will assist the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and special projects. Job Responsibilities Support budgeting and forecasting processes by preparing data and assisting with financial planning activities. Analyze monthly results by comparing actual performance to forecasts and explaining key variances. Prepare recurring reports and dashboards to track financial performance and expense trends. Partner with cross‑functional teams to monitor costs and support expense management initiatives. Assist with financial modeling analysis and special projects to support business decisions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or planning roles. Demonstrated advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze data and build reports. Experience with enterprise financial systems and common financial platforms. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail. Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management. Capability to support development of reporting tools and improve efficiency of financial processes. Effective collaboration with stakeholders to align financial goals with business needs. High accuracy and organizational skills when working with financial information. Initiative, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
