AMT Medical Staffing Inc is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in Birmingham, AL. Daily Responsibilities:
- Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatments
- Assist with general dentistry procedures and chairside duties
- Take and develop digital x-rays, including orthodontic and endodontic x-rays
- Administer nitrous oxide and assist with oral surgeries
- Conduct patient education on oral hygiene and treatment planning
Required Skills:
- Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree
- Registered Dental Hygienist certification
- Experience with Dentrix software and digital x-ray systems
- Proficiency in sterilization procedures and charting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with front office duties and scheduling
- Familiarity with orthodontic and periodontal treatments
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and nitrous oxide administration
Salary Range: $59,610 - $63,570 annually
