Bolted Tank/Aluminum Dome Mechanic

Bolted Tank/Aluminum Dome Mechanic Responsible for installation, inspection, and repair of above‑ground storage tanks and domes, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This full‑time position requires working at a job site, handling tools, and maintaining equipment and inventory. Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform regular job tasks related to seal and dome installation, inspection, and repair of above‑ground storage tanks. Install, inspect, and repair non‑welded tank apparatus. Undergo Confined Space Rescue training provided by PTS. Operate safety equipment including fall protection, atmospheric monitors, and respiratory protection. Operate all job‑site tools, such as power tools, air tools, and testing equipment. Set up and operate generators and air compressors. Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, and aerial lifts. Interpret drawing packages, technical documents, and safe‑work plans. Assist in care and maintenance of tooling and equipment. Assist in receiving, inspecting, and inventorying materials. Maintain a clean and orderly job site. Complete job safety analysis, safety audits, and site‑specific training as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent communication and organizational skills. Problem‑solving ability and a willingness to suggest improvements. Excellent attendance and punctuality. Willingness to learn and expand skill set. Minimum age of 18 years. Able to lift at least 50 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent. Eligibility to work in the United States. Willingness to authorize background checks, vehicle record checks, and drug & alcohol testing. No criminal convictions for dishonesty, sexual misconduct, violence, or acts of terrorism.
