About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Commercial Finance to play a pivotal role in supporting various non-finance functions, including marketing, sales, account management, and pre-sales, in all financial aspects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insightful and influential financial analysis to assist in making well-informed commercial decisions, with a focus on maximizing growth and improving financial performance. This includes managing regular analysis of sales performance, driving business value through expert financial and analytical advice, and ensuring accurate client portfolio management. The role also involves building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting strategic business initiatives such as new product launches and margin enhancement. Applicants for the VP Commercial Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' of experience, with at least 8 years' in FP&A, commercial finance, or pricing, preferably within the FinTech, SaaS, or software industry. A Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related field is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing a finance function in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment, and experience in dealmaking and commercial contract negotiation. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential, as is proficiency in advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis. The ability to communicate complex financial information effectively and to manage competing priorities while building strong relationships is also a key requirement.
