Registered Nurse (RN) in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This position involves responsibility for patient care in a PACU setting. The work week typically consists of 36 hours. There may be additional on-call requirements for nights and weekends. You will be expected to respond to notifications of cases within 30 minutes. The patient ratios will be 1 to 1 or 1 to 2. The patient population primarily includes adults, with a monthly focus on ENT procedures. Candidates are asked to adhere to the dress code, which prohibits open-toed shoes and fake fingernails. This role includes shared responsibilities with the Preoperative unit. All candidates must have the required certifications upon submission. Fingerprinting and background checks are required prior to hire. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a team dedicated to high-quality patient care.
