A growing and well-established organization is seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and provide high-level accounting and financial guidance.
ResponsibilitiesLead audit engagements from planning through completion.
Manage and supervise audit teams, ensuring work is accurate, timely, and efficient.
Review financial statements, audit workpapers, and supporting documentation.
Identify accounting, financial reporting, and internal control issues and provide recommendations.
Develop audit strategies, budgets, and engagement timelines.
Work directly with clients and senior management regarding audit findings and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and applicable regulations.
Handle complex accounting and technical matters.
Mentor and develop audit staff and managers.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Assist with business development and other firm initiatives as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of public accounting/audit experience.
Active CPA license required.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
Proven experience managing multiple audit engagements and teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong client-facing and relationship-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
