With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:This is a dynamic role that directly works with one of Arcadis high-profiled automotive programs, so we are seeking a highly experienced Design Manager who has deep project experience focused on leading and coordinating multi‑disciplinary engineering design efforts, particularly automotive, industrial, office, and commercial developments in the Novi/Detroit, Michigan area. This role is client-facing, so regular travel to the client’s project site will be required. Come Join Arcadis! Role accountabilities:Role accountabilities:Coordinating with internal and external architects, engineers, designers, consultants, and managers to align strategic objectives and progressSpearheading strategic pursuits, creating winning delivery strategies, and developing fee projections to achieve the financial targets of the business, and creating the most advantageous delivery approachTaking responsibility for financial and project management controls, which enable monitoring, modification, and forecasting as appropriate Managing the acquisition, deployment, and optimization of resources for the project Driving timely service delivery, including technical and commercial outcomes, and undertaking reviews, ensuring delivery is above client expectations.Effectively implement design delivery best practice, including risk and change management, project set-up, and planning using internal and external digital technologiesAble to quickly understand specified project scopes and develop project plans of execution for a variety of Design and Engineering service deliveries.Ability to effectively deliver client presentations, prepare written reports, and communicate technical concepts, specifically around scoping requirements and riskQualifications & Experience:8 or more years’ relevant design experience, leading or being part of large multi-disciplinary design-engineered solutions and construction projectsExperience working with projects that utilize Fundamental knowledge of Autodesk Platforms: Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) engineered solutionsObtain Certified Project Management (CPM) certification status within 30 days of hire. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $107,281 - $145,000.
