Effective July 1, 2011, FRS members must contribute 3% of their salary as retirement contributions, on a pre-tax basis (the salary is reduced by the amount of the employee contribution before determining the federal income tax deduction). The employer will automatically deduct the employee contributions.

Minimum Requirements:

PHYSICAL SKILLS: Ability to sit at a console for extended periods of time. Ability to operate a keyboard for entering data into computer. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Minimum two (2) years' of clerical experience and record keeping with one (1) year public contact and telephone work required. Dispatching experience preferred. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Florida driver's license. All applicants must pass a urine test prior to employment. Future urine drug testing and alcohol breath testing will comply with the Pasco County Public Transportation Substance Abuse Policy.
