Recovery-Plus Family & Youth Mental Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Work Environment
This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct counseling sessions from your home or any location that suits you. You will utilize telehealth platforms to connect with clients, ensuring that they receive the support they need in a comfortable and familiar environment. Our flexible, 40-hour work schedule empowers you to choose your own hours, typically Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Recovery-Plus, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough mental health evaluations and assessments for clients to determine their treatment needs.
- Providing crisis intervention to individuals in immediate mental health distress.
- Developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Leading group therapy sessions on mental health topics within the telehealth framework.
- Coordinating patient care and treatment disposition by liaising with other healthcare providers and organizations, including the Department of Corrections.
- Ensuring compliance with documentation requirements, including statistical reports and treatment notes.
- Participating in weekly clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor to enhance your professional development and clinical skills.
- Involvement in case conferences for ongoing patient evaluation and treatment planning.
- Potentially conducting psychological testing and supervising social work interns or student volunteers, as assigned.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will primarily focus on families and youth facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in promoting positive outcomes through culturally competent approaches that consider the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each client.
Qualifications
To successfully fulfill this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
- A valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, previous experience in a telehealth setting or with family and youth populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with crisis intervention methodologies and strong diagnostic skills will further enhance your candidacy for this role.
