Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) - Afternoon/PM shift or Overnight Shift, With an every other weekend rotation, PRN/Casual openings as well The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring that the health and safety needs of all patients are met. This position ensures the facility complies with current regulations and standards of practice. About Us Ecumen Lakeshore-The Fountains provides short-term rehab and post-hospital care for up to 60 patients in spacious, private rooms along the picturesque shore of Lake Superior. Nurses in the Fountains acquire a comprehensive skill set to include IV insertion and medication administration, lab draws, code response, complex wound care, advanced respiratory care and restorative nursing care in collaboration with the therapy team to support each patient’s journey to health. The targeted pay range for this job is $37.76 - $47.95 per hour. Additional $2/hour shift differential for the overnight shift Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay, including experience, qualifications, and when applicable certifications, licenses, and education. Learn more at Essential Job Responsibilities Complete initial assessment of potential patients and implement service agreements with all patients upon move‑in. Monitor and maintain each patient’s medical record, ensure appropriate assessments are completed timely and documentation is appropriate, and confirm patients have current care plans in place. Ensure all physician orders are signed and implemented within 24 hours. Maintain and monitor medication administration program, supervise medication practices and medical equipment used in the building, follow up with physicians regarding medications and/or medical conditions. Assist supervisor in providing health and medication training to all new team members and continued education for all staff, and document such training to assure compliance with state, federal and local regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Required Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which you will work and maintain licensure Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility, including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Patient’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Previous experience working with seniors Licenses & Certifications Registered Nurse (required) Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer.
