Position Summary

Looking for a proven Development Team lead with 6+ years of design/development experience and at least 2 full life cycle SalesForce.com and Apttus implementations in Quote through Contract (Configure Price Quote/CPQ & Contract life cycle management/CLM).

As a Development Team Lead you will be responsible for designing and developing customized solutions within the Salesforce/Apttus CPQ platform. This will involve meeting with project managers and business stakeholders in analyzing business requirements and troubleshooting applications issues. Understanding business requirements and issues and converting them into a scalable technical solution design and drive development team to implement same.

Responsibilities:

The Onshore Development Team Lead will need to have outstanding technical knowledge of the Salesforce and Conga CPQ/CLM and will include the following key responsibilities:

• Overall expert focusing on development across all Apttus CPQ/CLM areas (Apttus CPQ Configuration and Code/Calculation changes, Product & Price list setup, Price Exhibits, X-Author Apps, Apttus CLM agreements).
• Meeting with key business stakeholders and project lead to determine the business needs.
• Should be able to understand business requirements and convert them into a scalable technical solution design and drive development team to implement same
• Should be able to guide offshore team and coordinate activities between onsite and offshore teams
• Reviewing and Testing deliverables from offshore
• Creating timelines and development goals.
• Writing technical design documents and providing technical training for Salesforce Staff.
• Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce and Apttus CPQ/CLM platform.
• Create test scripts and testing the stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
• Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.

Preferred skills & experience:

• Minimum of 6+ years of IT experience (Minimum 3 + years of experience implementing Salesforce solutions from initiation to launch and at least 3+ years of experience configuring and developing on the Apttus/Conga CPQ managed package)

• Understanding of the Lead-To-Cash business process and experience in at least two to three large-scale full-life cycle implementations of Quote to- Contract (CPQ/ CLM) solutions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to senior leaders.

• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into a scalable solution design

• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously; workload will be a blend of small, medium, and large implementation projects

• Experience operating in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile environment.

• Strong expertise in Apttus Product management: managing products, bundles, inclusion rules, constraint rules.

• Strong expertise in Pricing management: Price dimensions and tiers, price rulesets, pricing callback class, validation callback class.

• Must have strong experience working in Visualforce, Apex classes & controllers, Triggers, Batch jobs, Workflows, and the REST API, Process builders, formulas, validations, test coverage, SOQL, SOSL, exception handling and other standard SFDC components

• Expertise on Apttus CLM contract management process

• Hands on experience with Apttus Intelligent Workflow Approval Process

• Ability to build and update complex X-Author Excel and Word templates

• Advanced understanding of the Salesforce.com data model and how and when to create custom objects vs. using Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems as well as working with integration tools such as ETL preferred

• Strong analytical skills, including demonstrated proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic

Desired education and certification:

• Must have Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Information Technology

• Apttus CPQ/CLM certification

• Salesforce Platform Developer certifications
