A busy and growing nephrology practice is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Nurse Practitioner to join our practice. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with patients managing chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis care, and related chronic conditions in both clinic and/or dialysis settings.

We are looking for a provider who values patient relationships, strong communication, and high-quality care.

Responsibilities :

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic kidney disease

Monitor and manage dialysis patients

Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician

Educate patients and families regarding kidney health, medications, diet, and treatment plans

Document patient encounters accurately and timely within EMR

Collaborate with healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications :

Current Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or ACNP preferred)

DEA license 

Nephrology experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
