The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation seeks General Physiatrists to join our growing academic faculty in Dallas, Texas. We welcome candidates interested in either inpatient or outpatient physiatry. We are also particularly interested in physicians who would like to develop or expand a clinical focus in spasticity management or the care of adults with cerebral palsy. About the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation With more than 45 clinical faculty, 4+ research faculty, 10 practice locations, and 4 inpatient rehabilitation facilities, our faculty provide comprehensive rehabilitation care across a broad range of settings. Our department is committed to improving function, independence, and quality of life through excellence in patient care, education, and research. We provide services at facilities across UT Southwestern Medical Center campuses, including UT Southwestern University Hospitals, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Children’s Health, Scottish Rite for Children, the VA North Texas Health Care System, and affiliated locations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Parkland Memorial Hospital serves as a primary teaching hospital for UT Southwestern and is a cornerstone of our academic mission. Our longstanding partnership provides an outstanding setting for clinical education, resident training, and the care of patients with a wide range of rehabilitation needs. The Department is also part of the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute, providing opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
