Tryfacta is seeking an LVN / LPN for our client in Rochester, NY 14621-3011. This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please apply now!

Location: Rochester, NY 14621-3011

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provided direct patient care to medical, orthopedic overflow, and long-term acute care patients in a fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit.
• Conducted patient assessments and monitored changes in condition, reporting findings to Registered Nurses and physicians.
• Administered medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Performed wound care, dressing changes, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and patient monitoring.
• Managed peripheral IVs, central lines, PICC lines, and assisted with line maintenance and infection prevention.
• Delivered respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), tracheostomy care, and suctioning.
• Assisted with enteral feeding tube management and monitored patient tolerance and nutritional status.
• Monitored telemetry and reported abnormal cardiac rhythms and significant changes in patient status.
