Level 1 Laborer Picker/Packer (1st Shift)

Job Type: Full-time Hourly Monday through Friday 7am - 3:30pm Work Location: On site Benefits: Health Insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) Paid time off Educational Reimbursement Responsibilities: Follow quality rules for proper gowning, cleaning, or other tasks. Review and understand build sheets and work instructions. Picking and part inspection. Using tools such as a regrind, trimmer, Hudson clicker, or blank cutter. Label and pack orders per customer specification. Use manual pallet jack to bring completed pallets from packing area to shipping. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications/ Requirements: Good work ethic and positive attitude. Exceptional attention to detail. Able to follow and understand quality management objectives and manufacturing procedures. Must be fluent in English for communicating and reading safety instructions, procedures, and customer orders and parts. Must be able to stand long periods of time and walk continuously through assigned areas. Must be able to wear facial mask, and gowning equipment including booties, gowns/jackets, gloves, eye protection when applicable, hair net, and facial hair net if/when applicable. Must be able to lift 45lbs occasionally and 25lbs regularly. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time, have full range of motion, bending, reaching, and lifting.
