Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our healthcare team in the Phoenix area. This full-time position offers three 12.5-hour shifts per week, with opportunities to work either day or night shifts based on facility needs. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed and within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Support a positive and professional patient care environment.

Schedule Details

• Full-time position
• Three (3) 12.5-hour shifts per week
• Day or night shifts available
• Open availability required
• Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Current Medical Assistant License/Certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Current First Aid Certification
• Current TB Test/Screening Documentation
• Current N95 Respirator Fit Testing Documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
