This onsite position is available immediately and is projected to run through the end of the school year, covering a valued team member’s leave. Located near bustling Murrieta, CA, you’ll play a vital role as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), enhancing student participation and independence in school settings.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in California
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy, with a strong understanding of educational practice
• Proficiency in conducting and documenting student-centered therapy sessions
• Familiarity with managing a caseload of approximately 80 students
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapeutic services onsite to students, focusing on enabling academic access and functional skills
• If serving as a COTA: Provide support across two elementary schools (7.5 hours/day); implement therapy plans under OT supervision
• If serving as an OT: Supervise a COTA at one site, in addition to carrying out OT responsibilities (8 hours/day)
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation, including progress updates and IEP records
• Participate in student evaluations, team meetings, and collaborative problem-solving
• Adapt interventions to meet diverse learning and physical needs
