Position: Chef de Cuisine
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay: $80,000-$90,000/year
Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is looking for a Chef de Cuisine with 4-5+ years of Chef experience in a high-volume, full-service environment. Mediterranean cuisine experience a MUST.
Job Summary
Leads back-of-house (BOH) operations with a focus on execution, opening processes, and kitchen standards. Oversees food quality, inventory, and team performance while supporting menu changes and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily BOH operations, including prep, cooking, and team supervision
- Manage food ordering, inventory, and cost control
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and safety standards
- Oversee opening processes, line checks, and kitchen readiness
- Maintain recipes, support menu updates, and communicate changes
- Supervise, train, and develop BOH team members
- Partner with FOH to ensure smooth service and communication
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance standards
Requirements
- Strong kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume environment
- MUST have significant Mediterranean cuisine experience
- Knowledge of food safety, inventory, and cost control
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
- Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
