Travel RN – Mother Baby / Nursery (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: June 22, 2026 | Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (nights: Friday/Saturday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide couplet care (mother and newborn) with a ratio of 3 couplets per nurse
• Support Labor and Delivery including active labor, Pitocin, and epidural management at a 1:1 ratio
• Assist with or circulate for cesarean sections performed in on-unit OR suites
• Perform OB triage, inductions, and postpartum and newborn care in the wellborn nursery
• Collaborate with charge nurses, birth response nurses, L&D nurses, and scrub techs on the night shift team
• Float within the Maternity Care unit as needed; no facility-wide floating required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of OB/Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
• Proficiency with Corometrics fetal monitoring equipment
• Experience with Centricity Perinatal and/or Meditech EMR systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cesarean section experience as circulator, first assist, or scrub role
• Experience working with midwives in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Energetic, self-directed personality well-suited to a fast-paced maternity care environment
