Overview Director, Home Health Administrator – Leading Faith-Based Nonprofit Health System | Home Health & Hospice Division. The Opportunity Our client — a faith-based, not-for-profit health system recognized by Forbes as one of America\'s Best Employers by State, certified by Great Place To Work for two consecutive years, and named to Becker\'s 150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare — is seeking a Director / Home Health Administrator to lead the day-to-day clinical, operational, and financial performance of a well-established home health and hospice agency serving the metro Denver region. You will direct the full agency footprint: intake, scheduling, clinical supervision, OASIS quality, utilization management, billing oversight, payer credentialing, regulatory compliance, and team development. You will be the senior leader on the ground — the one referring physicians and care management teams pick up the phone for. You will function as a strategic operator with real authority, plugged into a connected continuum of care — not as an isolated administrator buried under paperwork or stranded between corporate and the field. A Connected Multidisciplinary Team — You will partner directly with hospital leaders, care management, intake, clinical supervisors, and a 24/7 RN on-call structure — and be supported by one of the largest integrated faith-based systems in the country. No more solo lift. Schedule Sanity — Full-time, day-shift, on-site role with predictable Monday–Friday rhythm and structured on-call coverage. Home health leadership burnout is driven by always-on cognitive load — this role is structured to protect recovery time. What You’ll Do Direct all day-to-day clinical, operational, and financial functions of the agency, ensuring a clinical supervisor is on-call during operating hours and an RN is available 24/7 to address patient needs. Drive financial performance — monitor variances, optimize reimbursement under PDGM, manage payer credentialing and contract services, and implement measures to keep the agency fiscally strong without sacrificing care. Hit and exceed national benchmarks on the KPIs that matter: hospitalization rates, OASIS quality, HHCAHPS patient experience, LUPA management, and HHVBP outcomes. Own regulatory readiness — partner with state agencies, CMS, CLIA, and accrediting bodies to maintain survey-ready operations every day, not just every three years. Build the bench — collaborate with talent acquisition and HR to recruit, credential, and retain qualified clinical and support personnel in a market where home health turnover sits near 80%. Lead the QI committee, infection control, risk management, and patient experience initiatives; review trends quarterly and translate data into action. Serve as the relationship lead with hospital leaders, care management teams, and referral partners — building the trust that drives sustainable census. Who You Are Required Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing or another healthcare-related field (or 4+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree). 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in home-based care operations or other related healthcare operations. Active Registered Nurse (RN) OR Physical Therapist (PT) licensure. Demonstrated clinical expertise, leadership ability, and working knowledge of community health resources. Preferred Master\'s in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Nursing (MHA, MBA, or MSN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Direct experience with Medicare/Medicaid Conditions of Participation, OASIS, PDGM, HHVBP, and accreditation by The Joint Commission or ACHC. Track record of successful state and federal survey outcomes.
