Overview
Registered Nurse – Cardiac, travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Card/Cath) specialty. Start date: July 6, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,326–$2,390 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 10-hour day shifts, four days per week, with on-call responsibilities. This assignment is in a hospital setting serving adult cardiology patients undergoing interventional procedures.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including pre-procedure assessment, monitoring during procedures, and post-procedure recovery.
- Monitor hemodynamics, administer medications per orders, and manage contrast media safety and patient needs.
- Assist interventional cardiology procedures, support sterile technique, and ensure equipment readiness and room turnover efficiency.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing leadership, and allied staff to ensure patient safety, timely communications, and quality outcomes.
- Document patient status, procedures, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record; escalate concerns promptly.
- Respond to emergencies or call obligations as assigned; participate in ongoing unit communication and performance improvement activities.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional cardiology nursing experience
- Ability to work M-F schedule, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with on-call responsibilities
- Experience in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab environment; strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
