Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• 2+ years’ experience required
• Inpatient & outpatient experience required
• Current NM licensure required
• Pending NM state licensure approved, must be included with submission

Assignment Details

• Mon-Thurs, 8a-6pm.
• Fri, 8a-12p.
• Work at hospital one Saturday per month.
• Outpatient clinic setting.
• 13-week assignment.

Location Highlights

Carlsbad, New Mexico offers access to Carlsbad Caverns National Park, located about 25 miles southwest of the city, and the Pecos River runs through town with recreation areas at Lake Carlsbad Beach Park. The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens State Park is on the north side of Carlsbad and features desert wildlife exhibits and hiking trails within minutes of downtown. Guadalupe Mountains National Park sits about 55 miles south, giving travelers access to mountain hiking and West Texas scenery on days off. Carlsbad has a quieter pace with local shopping and dining near Canal Street, and Cavern City Air Terminal provides regional air service a few miles from the city center.
