We proudly serve as first responders for the majority of Lorain County's 911 calls, providing life-saving care to our community when it matters most.As a LifeCare EMT, you deliver both emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation, working closely with a skilled team in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Schedule and Pay:Pay: $42,000 – 55,000 a yearMultiple flexible schedules for both full time and part timeEmergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Responsibilities:Respond to 911 calls and provide patient care in accordance with Ohio EMS protocols and regulationsCollaborate with ALS providers as needed for advanced patient careEnsure readiness of equipment and ambulance before, during, and after shiftsPromote and maintain a safe and secure work environment; take immediate action when safety issues ariseCommunicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and other departmentsHandle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulationsActively participate in company meetings, events, and improvement initiativesAssist with audits and documentation as neededEmergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Qualifications:Current State of Ohio EMT CertificationHigh school diploma or GEDValid Ohio driver's license in good standingAbility to lift and carry up to 150 lbs. unassistedEmergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Work Environment:Exposure to extreme temperatures, hazardous materials, and high-stress emergency situationsOperation of light and heavy medical and transportation equipmentUse of communication tools such as radios, computers, and tabletsOccasional work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and around mechanical equipmentReady to make an impact in your community?
