Our technology-enabled services simplify living for residents and create a better experience for property owners and boards.Our ambition is to continue our fast-growing journey through new customers, service expansion, and by partnering with great companies that share our mindset and ambition, both in existing and new markets.As we continue to grow, we stay true to who we are, challenge unnecessary bureaucracy, and keep decision-making close to our customers.If you share our mindset and ambition, we'd love you to join us and help accelerate our mission together.Duties and Essential FunctionsLead, train, and evaluate maintenance staff to ensure high levels of performance.Assign tasks and prioritize work for the maintenance team based on facility needs.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment functionality.Monitor and inspect work performed by maintenance staff, ensuring quality standards are met.Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget.Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary.Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for maintenance staff.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.Prepare and present reports on maintenance operations, budget considerations, and progress to upper management.Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance needs and schedules.Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff to minimize downtime.Who You AreHands-on maintenance leader with strong technical knowledge of facility systems, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance, and the ability to step in directly when needed.Organized and safety-focused supervisor who can manage maintenance schedules, keep accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and company standards.Dependable team manager and problem-solver who leads maintenance staff effectively, prioritizes urgent issues, and keeps facilities running efficiently with minimal disruptionSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position will supervise a team of maintenance personnel.Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a hands-on maintenance environment that includes indoor and outdoor facility areas, requires regular physical activity, and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, tools, machinery, and occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance support.Physical DemandsThis position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and carrying materials or equipment, as well as the ability to safely perform manual maintenance tasks, use tools and machinery, and lift up to 50 pounds.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Regular business hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., though hours may vary depending on the needs of the organization. Schedule may change to accommodate workload, special projects, or business needs of the company.TravelSome travel will be required to attend company sponsored meetings, trainings and property visits.Required Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher in a related field isMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance management or a similar role, preferably within property management or a related industry. Demonstrated experience in overseeing maintenance operations for multiple properties.Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team of maintenance professionals. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development, motivation, and performance management.In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently.Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and clients. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills are also required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to property maintenance. Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
