About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6am-2:30pm, 6am-4:30pm, or 6am-6:30pm Hours per Shift: 8, 10, or 12 Experience: OR experience, Cardiac Scrub experience License: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: BSN Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. On-call availability required: 48 hours of call in a 6-week schedule period. Must be available for one weekend per month.
