Internal Medicine Physician

Locums Internal Medicine Physician in Peoria, Illinois - No Call, Low Volume

Care for a primarily Medicare-aged patient population with no call responsibilities and a manageable daily volume. This outpatient role is supported by a team-based care model with strong clinical resources.

Practice & Cases

Outpatient clinic focused on preventive and chronic disease management
Management of diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, and coronary artery disease
Primarily patients age 65 and older
Full support from medical assistants, scribes, registered nurses, and advanced practice providers

Schedule

Monday through Friday clinic schedule
Daytime hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Full-time outpatient coverage
Ongoing weekday assignment

Requirements

Must be an MD or DO
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active Illinois license required
DEA registration required

Logistics

Mileage reimbursement provided
Drive-in candidates preferred
