RN - Telemetry

Telemetry NurseWe are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Nurse to join our team. This full-time position consists of 12-hour night shifts and requires availability for holidays and every other weekend. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in an acute care hospital setting.Responsibilities:Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Provide education and support to patients and their families.Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.Float to similar units as needed based on staffing requirements.Qualifications:Active RN license in Illinois.A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care hospital.Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Additional Information:Non-billable orientation is required for 12 hours.Orientation sessions are held on Mondays.All credentials must be submitted by the Thursday prior to the start date.If you are looking to advance your career in telemetry nursing and meet the qualifications above, we encourage you to apply.
