Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult Med Surg patients, including assessment, monitoring, and timely response to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and IV therapies according to physician orders, with accurate documentation and safe practice.
- Perform routine procedures and assist with diagnostics, treatments, and patient education as needed.
- Maintain clear, concise, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record; ensure accurate handoffs during shift changes.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and safe transitions of care.
- Uphold patient safety, infection control standards, and quality initiatives throughout the shift.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (GA or equivalent compact licensure recognized for practice in Georgia)
- Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant Med Surg nursing experience
- AHA BLS Certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2x3 schedule
- Eligible for travel assignment and able to meet facility requirements for temporary credentialing
