Overview Recruiter (Contract) – Compensation $55‑65/hr, duration 6‑12 months (could extend). Full‑time, hybrid schedule (2‑3 days per week in the office) in San Jose, CA. The role is for a semiconducting manufacturing public company (~6500 employees). Seeking an experienced full‑cycle recruiter with heavy experience recruiting non‑IT engineering roles (Mechanical, Hardware). Must have 6+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience and have recruited heavily for non‑IT engineering roles. Experience in semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, medical device, or capital equipment industry; proficiency with MS Office. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, large company experience, semiconductor industry background, mix of agency and corporate experience. Responsibilities Be a strategic partner to hiring managers to define needs and design hiring processes to ensure a world‑class candidate experience. Manage full‑cycle recruiting process from source to close. Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies individually and with the team to build a strong pipeline of outstanding candidates. Get creative to continue to create diversity in the recruiting pipeline. Work with hiring managers and HR to ensure job requirements are appropriately set, clearly understood, and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria. Participate in implementing, continuously refining, and assessing recruiting processes to deliver high quality results and improve customer and candidate experience. Be familiar with industry trends, market competitors and unemployment conditions. Screen and deliver candidates at the top of the funnel so hiring managers see only a strong subset of technically capable candidates. Qualifications 7–12 years in a large corporate environment specializing in engineering recruitment (hardware, mechanical, software). Exceptional stakeholder management skills. Can set clear expectations and execute against them. Possess excellent social, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills; positive attitude and high level of initiative. Ability to establish rapport with candidates and hiring managers at all levels. Ability to work with high sense of urgency, remain flexible within a highly dynamic, changing environment while successfully meeting objectives. #J-18808-Ljbffr
