Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (PACU Boarders)

Location

Philadelphia, PA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU boarder patients housed within the PACU unit, with an expected patient population of trauma overflow
• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans under the direction of a licensed physician using the nursing process
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate and individualize patient care
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with standards of nursing practice and departmental policies and procedures
• Float to other areas including the ED for ICU holds or to other ICU and step-down units based on census and operational need

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Working knowledge of nursing principles, theories, and current clinical methods and techniques

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU or relevant clinical specialty area
