**Job Description***Applications received for this requisition will only be considered for the below work schedule.***Harborview Medical Center - Acute Care Float Pool Unit** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) position.****CURRENT WORK SCHEDULE OPENINGS**90% FTE (36 hours per week), Day shift**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*** Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse* Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating* Maintain a safe environment of care* Patient transportation* Prepare patients for surgery* Perform non-invasive lab procedures* Transport equipment and supplies* Assist with treatments* Perform various clerical tasks* Take vital signs**REQUIREMENTS*** Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State *(please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)** High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting* Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date* Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.#CNAJobs #PCTJobs #CertifiedNursingAssistant #PatientCareTechnicians**ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER**As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
