Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Homecare Nurse: Marengo, IL

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled, one-on-one care for a 20-year-old female patient in Marengo, IL.

This patient requires specialized nursing support, including G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care. Join a team that is committed to delivering exceptional care while providing you with the training, resources, and clinical support needed to succeed.

Available Schedule:

• Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays
• 8AM-4PM (preferred, can be flexible!)
• Evening shifts available M-Th, 5PM-10PM

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the physician's orders and plan of care
• Monitor and assess patient status, reporting any changes to the physician and clinical team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform and monitor G-tube feedings and care
• Provide tracheostomy and ventilator support
• Document patient care and interventions accurately and timely
• Educate and support family members regarding patient care needs
• Promote patient comfort, safety, and quality of life in the home setting

Qualifications

Required

• Current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current Health Certificate (per state regulations)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

Preferred

• Pediatric nursing experience
• Experience with G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care
• Homecare or private duty nursing experience
