Full Time Position

Desired Education: High School / GED

Desired Experience 1-2 Minimum of one year of previous, relevant field service experience required.

Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: Fire Alarm & Security installation/service.

Currently, we are looking for a full time Fire Alarm/Security Technician to support our team inNew Jersey. We are seeking a highly technical and creative individual to service and support existing customers by responding to service calls and installations that consist of both new construction, retrofits and upgrades.

Main Job Responsibilities: Respond to customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency and after-hours calls on a timely basis. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and debug a variety of systems for more complicated problems.
Identify and resolve problems for most types of service calls including emergency calls; analyze repair requirements and provide customer with appropriate solutions; complete necessary repairs and replacements as needed; exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customer to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
Provide technical support to end users when applicable. Seek technical guidance from more experienced staff for difficult and unusual situations.
Execute all work in accordance with local laws and guidelines set forth by the AHJ, as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.
Perform Test and Inspection as well as other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
