We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality representation to our clients, and we're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Case Manager Assistant to support our case management team. The Case Manager Assistant plays a key role in keeping our cases moving and our clients cared for. This position handles daily administrative operations including incoming mail, phone coverage, medical appointment scheduling, and calendar maintenance. you thrive in a collaborative setting and have a passion for the legal field, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Scan, sort, and process incoming and outgoing mail; route correspondence to the appropriate case files and team membersAssist case managers and attorneys in organizing and maintaining client case files and legal documents Upload and accurately label documents in the firm's case management system Upload and accurately label documents in the firm's case management system Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties to gather information and provide case status updates Schedule, confirm, and follow up on medical appointments for clients (treating physicians, specialists, diagnostic imaging, QME/AME evaluations as needed) Maintain and update case calendars, including appointments, deadlines, and follow-up dates Communicate with medical offices, clients, and vendors to coordinate scheduling and records Provide general administrative support to case managers and attorneys as needed Track case deadlines, hearings, and appointments to ensure timely follow-through Coordinate medical records requests, and other case-related documentation Support the legal team with administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and scheduling Requirements: Prior experience of office, administrative, or customer service experience (law firm or medical office experience a plus) Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Professional, client-focused demeanor with a strong sense of confidentiality About Us: Blanco & Arias APC is a dedicated law firm based in Torrance, CA, committed to providing exceptional legal representation and personalized service to every client we serve.
