Position Summary

The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care while promoting patient safety, quality outcomes, and continuity of care.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care
Educating patients and families
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Advocating for patients and coordinating care
Utilizing clinical technology and electronic documentation systems
Contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

Required

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current Georgia Registered Nurse License
One (1) or more years of Registered Nurse experience
Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Certification

Preferred

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Previous experience in the applicable specialty area

ACLS Certification Requirements

Required for:

All Critical Care Units
Emergency Care Center (ECC)
GI/Cath Laboratory
Labor & Delivery
All Intermediate Care Units (IMCU)
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
