Duties & Responsibilities Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS): Deliver engaging instruction in high schools utilizing Joshua Tree lesson plans in Self‑Advocacy, Workplace Readiness, Career Exploration, and Post‑Secondary Options. Extracurricular & Enterprise Events: Assist in scheduling, promoting, and leading GVRA Enterprise Events, localized Leadership Events, and GROW programs. Workplace Readiness Training (WPR): Provide 1‑on‑1 instruction, mentorship, resume building, interview prep, and vocational electives for certification/licensure. Individual Job Placement (IJP): Work one‑on‑one with students and general population clients to assist in 60‑90 day employment searches (up to 30 hours per client). Partnership Building & Roster Growth: Cultivate relationships with schools, GVRA staff, and community partners to expand rosters and transition opportunities. Accountability & Reporting: Maintain state‑required paperwork, lesson plans, and signed rosters, submitting documentation within 24‑48 hours of class completion. Requirements & Experience Teaching Certification (REQUIRED): Candidates MUST possess an active Teaching Certification. Classroom Experience (REQUIRED): Candidates MUST have documented in‑person classroom teaching experience (1–3 years in education, social work, or vocational rehabilitation preferred). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Ministry, or a related field preferred. Key Skills: Entrepreneurial mindset to spot networking opportunities, strong public speaking, negotiation, written documentation, and computer application skills. Schedule & Location: Full‑time W‑2 hybrid position (work from home, high schools, and field visits) with availability up to 40 hours per week. Travel up to an hour from assigned office/region may be required. Operational Requirements: Position begins with a 90‑day probationary period. Employment is “at‑will” and contingent upon a clear federal background check, state credential approval, and successful interview with JTSG leadership. Compensation & Package Base Pay: $36,000 – $42,000 per year Service Commission: $10 per hour or unit for each student/client served in WPR, Individual Job Placement (IJP), GROW, Leadership Events (LE), or Enterprise Events (EE) paid the following month. Payroll Cadence: Paid on the last business day of the month via Direct Deposit. Benefits: Covered under company liability insurance during service delivery.
