As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to support a secure environment. You will maintain a professional presence, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, issuing visitor passes, and following established access-control procedures. Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
