Join Our Team as a Courtesy Officer at Our Apartment Community in El Dorado, AR!
Are you a licensed law enforcement officer looking for a new opportunity? Our apartment community in El Dorado, AR, is seeking a dedicated and professional Courtesy Officer to ensure rules and regulations are followed, and our residents feel safe and secure. Key Responsibilities:
- Walk the grounds and check all common buildings and amenities, including the Clubhouse, pool, and playground areas, at least twice per night between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., seven nights a week
- Monitor and identify suspicious activity, reporting it immediately to local authorities and the Community Director
- Provide extra patrol on holidays such as the Fourth of July and New Year's Eve, and as needed
- Note areas of poor lighting or malfunctioning security lights and report them to the Community Director
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and inform them of your presence on the property
- Submit a weekly written report/log of all activities encountered to the Community Director
- Avoid apprehending or attempting a citizen's arrest unless necessary to protect someone from immediate danger
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed law enforcement officer in the same city or municipality as the property
- Police academy training or related law enforcement training required
- Required to live on the property (apartment included)
