Position Purpose:  

The Facilities Sanitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining all tribal properties in a neat and orderly manner daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Organize work in a timely manner.

· Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, walls, etc.

· Quality control - Making sure cleaning, upkeep and safety standards are maintained, or deficiencies are discovered.

· Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. in restrooms, break rooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners. 

· Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas

· Wipe down walls and woodwork, doors, wall hangings, baseboards, etc. 

· Other duties as assigned.

  Education and Experience:

· Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Must have excellent people skills.

· Must be able to deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner when they are on-site while cleaning is being performed. 

· Must be detail oriented.

· Must be able to identify tasks and complete them with minimal to no direction. 

Certifications:

· Valid Driver’s License and Insurance.

Work Requirements:

Position involves physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, to clean floors by hand, push and pull objects, lift, and move objects up to 50 lbs., repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements. Work is generally performed in an office environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
