Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) – A career of caring Job Details: Location: Ithaca/ Travers - Olympia Fields, IL 60461. Position Type: Full Time. Education Level: High School/GED. Salary Range: $21.30 – $22.80 per hour. Travel Percentage: Negligible. Job Shift: Afternoon/Evening. Job Category: Nonprofit – Social Services. Together we can empower each person we support with developmental disabilities to live the life they want to live. Responsibilities Assist people with developmental disabilities in their homes with daily living skills such as medication administration, meal preparation, cooking, dressing, hygiene, and keeping their home clean. Encourage people they support to be active in their community by assisting them in attending events, clubs, shows, and visiting local establishments such as restaurants and shops. Provide support and guidance as an experienced DSP, ensuring each person’s personal plan is implemented and choices on their life are offered and respected. Benefits and Pay Range Lead DSPs earn $22.80 per hour once training is complete. Set schedule: Monday‑Friday 4:00PM – 12:00AM; no weekends.
