Paralegal - Estate Planning

An established premier firm based in Irvine, CA with over 50 years in practice is seeking a Paralegal with 2+ years of experience to join their Tax, Trusts, and Estates team in a hybrid capacity after successful completion of the initial employment period. This role will support attorneys with estate planning, trust funding, client asset transfers, deed preparation, and foundational estate planning documents for high-net-worth families, closely held businesses, and charitable organizations. Offer: Salary range: $65,000-$85,000+, contingent on experience Five medical plan options, including three plans with an employer-funded HSA Dental and vision coverage 401(k) with significant employer matching Employer-paid life and disability coverage Employee Assistance Program Access to additional supplemental insurance plans 38-hour workweek with a half day on Fridays Hybrid work schedule after successfully completing 90 days of employment Eleven paid holidays annually Qualifications: Current ABA-approved paralegal certificate or attorney attestation required At least 2 years of paralegal work experience required Five or more years of paralegal experience preferred Experience in estate planning, including drafting revocable living trusts and foundational estate planning documents, is preferred Familiarity with WealthDocs, NetDocuments, and LawBase is preferred Strong follow-up and follow-through skills are required Excellent organizational, time management, and proofreading abilities are required High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail are required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a Windows environment is required Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients and advisors are required Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced legal environment is required Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with the initial drafting of estate planning documents Support trust funding by coordinating the transfer of client assets into trusts Meet and communicate with clients and their professional advisors in a polished and service-oriented manner Prepare deeds and related transfer documents for estate planning and trust administration matters Maintain and manage client files, records, and matter documentation with accuracy and confidentiality Proofread documents carefully to ensure consistency, completeness, and compliance with firm standards Track deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and support efficient matter progression Coordinate with attorneys, staff, clients, and outside professionals to support the Tax, Trusts, and Estates department Benefits Health & Wealth Five medical plans - three with an employer-funded HSA Dental and vision coverage 401(k) with significant employer matching Employer-paid life and disability coverage Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Access to additional supplemental insurance plans Time & Flexibility 38-hour workweek with a half day on Fridays Hybrid work schedule (after successfully completing 90 days of employment) Eleven paid holidays annually Culture & Community #J-18808-Ljbffr CyberCoders
