Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a diverse population including telemetry, surgical overflow, renal, trauma, and oncology (non-chemotherapy) patients
• Float as needed within the facility, including Stepdown, Med/Surg, ED, and all Telemetry units
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring with proficiency in EKG interpretation and management of dysrhythmias (Skill Level 3/4)
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Valid California RN License required at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required at time of submittal
• Demonstrated EKG skill with telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia management (Level 3/4)
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Social Security Number and Date of Birth required at time of submittal
• Any candidate previously employed permanently at this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification
• Two supervisor references preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
