Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Overview:

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete emergency repairs
• Install and test new machines and equipment
• Read and use schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting
• Replace worn or damaged parts to prevent downtime
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (voltmeters, etc.)
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (110–460V) and PLCs (I/O level)
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
• Communicate with team members to support smooth operations

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
• Experience with electrical systems (110–460V)
• Basic PLC troubleshooting
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams
• Experience with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus

Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (2-2-3 rotation)
• Training on day shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conover, NC.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
