Data Analyst / Systems Analyst

Location: McLean VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ months contract (Extension)

Project Overview

• Looking for a Systems Analyst OR Data Analyst with Project Management experience
• Will be working on slicing and dicing of data.
• Data sets vary from piece to piece.
• Need someone with Data Analysis, Project Management and Strong Communication Skills
• Will be working on data reconciliation.
• Understanding data coming from different sources and ensure that source data meets the target data to ensure no data integrity issues.
• Will be reviewing logs and relaying the same info to the stakeholders.
• Resolve data issues.
• Will be collaborating with different stakeholders; hence cross functional skills are needed.
• Will be supporting to build those connectors, gap the bridge between data coming from different units.
• Tasks are assigned as on needed basis – not a straightforward day to day.
• Strong AWS exp is needed – EC2 especially.
• Containers exp is needed as well.
• Understanding of logs needed – to review and understand the output coming from different sources.
• Strong Analytics skills needed.
• Some access management skills needed.
• Understanding of security, vulnerabilities, threats, etc.
• Once a data issue is identified, need to do RCA and resolve the issue. Once the issue is resolved, will be helping to design a process around it.
• Bachelor’s Degree is needed.
• Master’s Degree in preferred

Data Analytics

1. Log Analytics – Will be reviewing and analyzing logs
2. Understanding of data coming from multiple sources
3. Troubleshooting Data Issues
4. Ensure data is same from source to target.

1. EC2
2. Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Desired

Project Management

1. Will be presenting findings to the stakeholders.
2. Will be collaborating with multiple teams.
3. Understanding of Identity & Access Management, Information Security, Vulnerabilities, Threats, etc.
